Image utility

Resize an image by pixels.

Set exact width and height, keep the original aspect ratio when needed, and download a sharp JPG, PNG or WebP.

Files stay on this device

Output size

Pixels · maximum 8,000 × 8,000

Nothing is uploaded

The file is processed locally by your browser and never sent to UtilityHub.

Your original stays intact

Every action creates a separate download and leaves the source file unchanged.

Check the result

Open the downloaded file and confirm it meets the destination’s current requirements.

Practical guidance

Use the result with confidence

Pixel dimensions control width and height, while file size controls storage. Resize first when the destination specifies dimensions, preserve the aspect ratio where possible, and compress afterward only if there is also a KB limit.

Before you finish

  • Width and height are correct.
  • Faces, logos and text are not stretched.
  • The saved format is accepted.

Common uses

Application portals

Match a required width and height before upload.

Website assets

Create a consistently sized image for a page or listing.

Email and documents

Reduce unnecessarily large image dimensions.

Recommended workflow

  1. 1Read the required width and height.
  2. 2Choose whether to preserve or crop to the aspect ratio.
  3. 3Resize and inspect the preview for distortion.
  4. 4Download, then compress only if a file-size limit remains.

Questions

Will resizing reduce file size?

Usually, but not to a predictable KB value. Use a compressor for a specific maximum.

What causes stretching?

Forcing a new width and height with a different aspect ratio distorts the image. Crop or preserve proportions instead.

Should I resize or compress first?

Resize first when exact dimensions are required, then compress the resized result.
